Get back to work!

Hi -- we've been lacking blog time of late - sorry! Scott is busy with his Masters, so most evenings and parts of the weekend are dedicated to that and Katie has been busy getting her papers together to get her Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng)

So it's not like we've been slacking!



But when you do want to slack - even at work - you can do so with a fun game that Katie's company designed to celebrate their 175 Year Anniversary. There's actually 3 games, but the one where you have to design the oil pipeline is the best.

Back to Biking

Last night was tons of fun as we as got to paint our clay creations. And as we pondered our designs, it was clear they came back to biking!

Katie is busy at work with her design...inspired by the Garmin-Slipstream Team.

Passion

Our blog is a site about passion, action & crashin! And with today being Valentine’s Day, we would be remiss not to talk about passion!

And while we don’t buy into all the hype that comes with the Hallmark Holiday, it is good to think about the ones you love and how you can do something a little extra special for someone today.

Our date night will include dinner out and then we are spending the evening at “U B the Artist.” They are having a couple’s night where you get to pick some pottery to decorate under candlelight while you are snacking on some treats. Should be fun!

No Port Alberni...

It's a good thing that we did the BC Bike Race last year. They just announced the 2009 route and it does not go to Port Alberni this year!

We really enjoyed our friends and family meeting us at the finishing/start line in Port. Plus, the homecooked food, showers and comfy bed! It wouldn't be the same this year.

However, we do know a great B&B in Nanaimo : )
