I'm Growing!

Megan is now 3 months old! We went and measured and weighed her today. She's 12 pounds, 1 oz. and is 24 inches long. Here she is looking comfy and cute in one of the outfits Uncle Paul, Aunt Amanda and cousin Matthew got her for Christmas.

Christmas!

We had Christmas on the Island with all the family - what a great time! Here's some of the photos of our adventures.

We also had a chance to visit with Steve (Katie's brother) who is living on Denman Island. We explored lots of cool parks on the Island with him and his girlfriend, Megan - too funny, right? It was great we were able to have a visit with them.

The week went by very quickly, but it's nice to be home. Not much planned for New Years - but more postings to come before then - we hope! Hope everyone had great holiday time with friends and family.

Visitor Fun . . .

We have visitors! Paul, Amanda and Matthew made a stop in Calgary for a few days before we all go to Port for Christmas. Ed & Christine came over for dinner and played Santa! Matthew's gifts were a huge hit - as he is anxiously waiting for dad to open his truck!

Matthew also found Katie's sunglasses around the house and surprise they fit! Yes, Katie does shop in the kids section for sunglasses - now all the bloggers int he world know : )

We got all dressed warm and walked to the lake for some snow fun!! Matthew did really good in the snow and had fun sled rides with dad and Uncle Scott. Megan, Amanda and Katie just cheered on the boys!

The rest of our visit has involved lots of fun, laughing and snuggles! Amanda (5 month's pregnant) looks right in her element with Matthew and Megan. And Matthew and Megan have been playing well together. Matt is very gentle with her and likes to check-in on her no matter what she is doing. Megan got an early present from Grandma and Grandpa Lee and Megan absolutely loves her jungle gym -- she's reaching and swinging the animals and loves to bounce her legs and arms to the music...very cute!

Thanks for checking in - hope everyone has a great Christmas holiday!

Megan's New Bow

It seems wrong for a girl with as much beautiful hair as Megan to not have a few bows to wear in it! Today I was out and found an adorable little pink and brown poke-a-dot bow for her hair...I think she likes it too :)

The Wreath . . .

Scott won this wreath at his work Christmas party last week. Since there are 3 people on it - we thought it was very fitting!
Warm weather is coming tomorrow - we are very much looking forward to getting out of the deep freeze! And just in time, since Scott's brother and family arrive this Saturday - now we can actually leave the hose and do some fun activities with the kids!
Enjoy your week.

Cute Photos of Megan

We're received feedback that we haven't been updating the blog with Megan photos enough! We hear you loud and clear, so this entry is dedicated to cute pictures of our little girl. Enjoy!

Dad was late from work, so bath time was delayed and tired Megan needed some soother time!

Baby, it's cold outside....

Let it Snow . . .

Yesterday was our Friends & Family Christmas Party and wouldn't you know it -- Calgary was hit with a Blizzard on Friday and Saturday! Yes, I used the word blizzard and I think the photos will confirm it's worthy of use (plus - the weatherman used it too - not that they are even remotely right most of the time, but it sounds official!)

Despite the poor weather, which did improve by Saturday afternoon, we had 20 adults and 10 kids (5 of them were under the age of 6 months, the others were toddlers) at our party this year. Katie made gingerbread snowflakes for the toddlers to decorate - they loved the activity!

The adults just filled our bellies and had a great visit.

As you can see from above, even the airport wasn't much of an escape route! Calgary is expected to stay cold (-20 as the high) but no more snow is expected for the next few days.

Coming to visit us soon? Dress warm please! As for the rest of our weekend - we're staying inside!
