Christmas!
Great Grandma, Nana and Baba working in the kitchen with Megan.
Colin and Wesley opening gifts as Heather and Paul look on.
Megan showing off her Christmas Day outfit and then being held by Great Grandpa.
We also had a chance to visit with Steve (Katie's brother) who is living on Denman Island. We explored lots of cool parks on the Island with him and his girlfriend, Megan - too funny, right? It was great we were able to have a visit with them.
The week went by very quickly, but it's nice to be home. Not much planned for New Years - but more postings to come before then - we hope! Hope everyone had great holiday time with friends and family.

Visitor Fun . . .
Matthew also found Katie's sunglasses around the house and surprise they fit! Yes, Katie does shop in the kids section for sunglasses - now all the bloggers int he world know : )
We got all dressed warm and walked to the lake for some snow fun!! Matthew did really good in the snow and had fun sled rides with dad and Uncle Scott. Megan, Amanda and Katie just cheered on the boys!
The rest of our visit has involved lots of fun, laughing and snuggles! Amanda (5 month's pregnant) looks right in her element with Matthew and Megan. And Matthew and Megan have been playing well together. Matt is very gentle with her and likes to check-in on her no matter what she is doing. Megan got an early present from Grandma and Grandpa Lee and Megan absolutely loves her jungle gym -- she's reaching and swinging the animals and loves to bounce her legs and arms to the music...very cute!

Let it Snow . . .
Despite the poor weather, which did improve by Saturday afternoon, we had 20 adults and 10 kids (5 of them were under the age of 6 months, the others were toddlers) at our party this year. Katie made gingerbread snowflakes for the toddlers to decorate - they loved the activity!
The adults just filled our bellies and had a great visit.
As you can see from above, even the airport wasn't much of an escape route! Calgary is expected to stay cold (-20 as the high) but no more snow is expected for the next few days.
Coming to visit us soon? Dress warm please! As for the rest of our weekend - we're staying inside!
