Anyway, our great friend Jackie (shout-out Jacks!) just got back from a trip to Egypt and shared with us some amazing photos and, yup, that made us wish for a trip too!
So we'll share some of her photos with you and maybe you can share some of your travel plans with us to tie us over until our next trip!? Where are you going or where would you like to go in 2007?!
I know we are far from being hard-done-by - but it's fun to bring drama into blogging!
Here's our list of where we're going - just keep in mind that three of the six are work related!
- Vancouver Island
- Los Angeles
- Houston
- Mexico City
- Golden Triangle (GT'07 Holla!)
- Tahiti!!!
OK - so it's a pretty wicked list - we are so spoiled! And we were talking over at Adam and Roxcie's last night (awesome perogies by the way, Rox!) about Tahiti and that kinda got us thinking more about trips too.
So many places - so little time!

Travel plans in the near future... Vancouver Island for Easter! Whoo hoo! I too just got back from three weeks in Florida, including a cruise, but that was three months ago now! Intense travel is hard to plan & do with three small kiddies but... we did do several trips as singles! I've been to Mexico, Norway, England/Wales, and various places in Canada & the USA - not too shabby :) Hawaii is on the someday list & I'd love to take my family to Norway someday - we'll see! Happy travels everyone!
I'm so boring. I have no real desires to go anywhere. I like my own comfy environment.
I love hearing about other peoples vacations but I never really want to tag along.
Our latest "holiday" was a week without kids... my parents took them to Victoria with them (yep, even the baby!!) So we just hung out at home and went on dates, etc... it was Valentine's week too!
It's been 14 months now since we took off to Hawaii... so, we "need" a vacation!!
This year I'd like to go to Nashville. And in the future we want to do Mexico (we've got friends in Cancun... hmmm.... that's convenient!!) and Europe (Norway, England, etc, I've only been to Holland and Germany) and Africa (could be missions, or just somewhere where I can do a safari). Steve doesn't really love the idea of Africa because he had malaria as a kid, and those kinds of places are breeding grounds... but there are meds for that kind of thing... where's the adventure!?)
Thanks for sharing your travel plans everyone!
Lou: England is on our list too. Katie was born there and we both still have family there - it may make it to the top of our 2008 list?!
Amy: Hearing other people's travel stories is fun. We enjoy having peopel come over and bring their photos to share!
Sarah: Nashville - interesting. That's showing insight into your musical talents! Maybe you'll be 'discovered' during your trip? Can we get your autograph?! haha
