My friend, Tanya called me up this week to arrange a bike ride on our day off -- today! Now Tanya and I were in recruit classes together and we both worked in a District together - so I've known her a long time. But this year she won the Silver Medal in mountain biking at the World Police & Fire Games in Australia (yeah!)We've ridden our rode bikes together, but never mountain bikes -- So you can imagine my excitement to get to ride with the Silver medalist! Anyway, it was great fun - we rode Elbow loop first thing this morning before it got too hot. To be fair she wasn't riding the bike that she won Silver with -- but I raced her back to the truck and I beat her (of course I didn't let her know that it was a race!) So guess who, in my mind, won Gold...hee-hee!

too funny that you mentioned James "the vacuum salesman" on my blog! I remember that now... it is so good that he gave that up!
