So we are going to a prenatal class on Wednesday nights. This was week 2 of 6. The redneck factor was much-lower tonight (crazy week 1 story!) However, the WTF!? factor was pretty high tonight.
It's not that the videos are freakin us out about what is to come, it's just that we don't think it's natural to watch other people's birthing experience on video. And if the one lady tonight who was crying during most of the graphic video happens to be reading this blog, all we have to say is - "Seriously?! By now you should have figured out how the baby is coming out of you!?!"
Anyway - there's snacks and I get to massage my wife lots, so those are worth going for!

Gee sounds like some fun. I was talking to my neighbours Penny and John and when they described their prenatal classes I almost thought you were in the same class. She said their's is equally horrifying and trashy. Keeps me entertained hearing the stories. haha.

Ahhh - good ole prenatal classes! Miles was long gone (Regina) when the time came for my prenatal classes, so Julie Taylor faithfully came with me every week in Port:) Nothing I didn't already know... the ones in Regina at the YMCA are awesome I've heard but after one successful delivery & limited time, we never went to the 'fun' prenatal class (did go to her mother-babe weekly group for a year though, so that was great for me, being new to the city and all) Feel free to keep us entertained with your stories though - if you hang in there that long :)
Don't listen to HG - this is how ALL babies are! KIDDING :)
One more reason I'm so thankful I had 3 c-sections, but my sis had 4 normal births, so you can do it!

And... my 1st baby was kind of like the one in the picture... just not my 2nd baby! The 3rd baby is kind of a blur :)
Hi Everyone - more blog stories to come. Tonight was fairly uneventful - although we have to question on guy's knowledge on human anatomy -- The nurse had to answer him tonight with quote - - - "wrong hole..." Ya - classic moment for sure.
Sarah - yup, last week the woman cried during the entire movie. She was better this week tho. However, she is married to the guy mentioned above...
Wow... what a pair those 2 must make! I bet there were some chuckles when he made that blunder!! Glad she didn't weep the whole time this week :)
These stories are awesome... keep them coming!
Also... maybe my first baby was so calm and good like the one in the picture because his name is Scott :o) haha!
