Despite the poor weather, which did improve by Saturday afternoon, we had 20 adults and 10 kids (5 of them were under the age of 6 months, the others were toddlers) at our party this year. Katie made gingerbread snowflakes for the toddlers to decorate - they loved the activity!
The adults just filled our bellies and had a great visit.
As you can see from above, even the airport wasn't much of an escape route! Calgary is expected to stay cold (-20 as the high) but no more snow is expected for the next few days.
Coming to visit us soon? Dress warm please! As for the rest of our weekend - we're staying inside!

Wow! Way to much snow for my liking. Glad your party went well and that it is letting up a bit. We are cold (-4 this morning) but no moisture so no snow. We hope this holds through your arrival--provided YYC has dug out by then.
Take care,
~Grant, Heather, Colin, Wesley, and 62 piled up boxes.
Very happy to hear that warmer weather is on the way for our visit in **12** days!

= not so merry Christmas travel. ; )
Bring on the Chinook!
Have a great week!
Yikes! So much snow! We saw some of the Calgary craziness on the news last night...
I didn't know your folks were moving... wow! Enjoy your last PA Christmas. That will be a change, eh? They've been there for a long time.
We will be at Lou's for Christmas. I am hoping for the same things as Paul, (warmer weather) but I think you're more likely to get it on the Island than us in Sask. Coooolllldddd!!! It's cold here today, too. minus 4 or 11, what's the difference anyway? Under 0 is too cold :)
I'm outta the loop on all the moves! Someone fill me in! Anyways home from Hawaii and not loving the cold. Happy Christmas travels!
Megan is growing fast eh!? And it's just been three weeks since I've seen pictures but I can see little changes already :) She must be getting fun with smiles etc now eh?
