Fortunately she loves her new "backpack". She even brings it to us in the house and wants us to help her get into it!

Megan's New "Backpack"
Now that Megan is a walking machine and sometimes even does a short stretch of running - usually away from us - it is time to invest in a child harness...or as we tell Megan, her new "backpack"! We know this is a bit of a controversial topic amongst parents, but Megan is all over the place and isn't afraid of ANYTHING...including passing traffic, big dogs, and strangers (we have a lot of work with "stranger danger" ahead of us!).

I am a big fan of the "backpack!" I know some people aren't, but we really needed something like that for Todd. I would have gone gray a lot sooner if I had to chase him everywhere. The other 2 didn't seem to have the same need for it... maybe they just weren't as curious. But it was a lifesaver with Todd, especially since the boys were only 11 1/2 months apart :)
You will love it in airports too when you travel. Just about bought Cole one but had just a blue canvas one on standby. Thankfully the boys were usually content in the stroller but I am an advocate of the backpacks & they look way better than the leather harness things our parents had! As for the controversy - safety is most important!!!
