Megan has adapted well to the sea – no sickness or problems to report. Our first day was a day at sea - so a chance to explore the Ship and get to know others! We opted for a suite with balcony and it’s been the best decision – tons of space for the crib and a room we can put her in to help her get to sleep. She has loved the elevators with the glass windows (photo below.) She’d ride them all day, if we’d let her. She also likes to climb on the deck chairs and test each of them out in the sun! It’s also been a chance for her to wear her new summer dresses and bathing suits...and most importantly...her CROCS. Oh my – does she love her green Crocs. It’s the first thing she asks for in the morning and it’s a fight to get them off her when she goes to bed. She better enjoy it while the sun shines because it’s back to boots in Calgary when we get back!
Day 2 was in Cabo. Unfortunately, although the weather was warm – the winds were strong and made it too dangerous to tender to shore. Disappointing for sure, but we made the most of the day at the kiddie pool on the top deck! We had planned to meet our friends from Regina (Miles & Louise and their 4 boys) who have been in Cabo the last 2 weeks on their vacation. We were text messaging – but they figured out that we wouldn’t be able to visit when our ship started sailing away...lol.
Day 3 was in Cabo again. This time the weather was excellent and we made it to shore without any problems. We met our friends at a beautiful resort where they own property – we know where we are staying next time we visit...wow! We spent the day with them in their pool, having, lunch and taking a tour of the great facility – thank you so much for having us...you have a great place there!!
Today we pulled into La Paz first thing in the morning and we’re greeted to a traditional mariachi band at the terminal. Needless to say, Megan danced! (photo below). She loved them and the band loved the attention. Megan was also a Mexican peddler’s dream. She loved some trinkets in one of the stores on shore – but Scott loves to barter, so he was right in his element. Megan is flying with her butterfly in the photo below.
The weather has been great – not overly impressed with the variety of food, compared with other cruise lines – but we are “roughing it” – hahaha! We are back into Cabo tomorrow. Our friends have now gone home...so we will explore some of the City areas this time around!

Great update! What's the cruise line? Sure the food selection is not THAT bad. Give away any money at the poker table Scott?
