We built a play area in our backyard this past week. We started last weekend, but had a few days of rain delay! Today we were able to finish it.
We thought it would go together much faster than it did - but there were lots of pieces!
We were happy to have Ed to lead the project for us! We built the pieces in the garage...
And then moved them to the backyard to put it all together! For the last few mornings, Megan has been helping us open the blinds to the backyard and always says..."Wow!"
Wait till she wakes up tomorrow!
She played on it a little this afternoon - she loves the slide! Katie has big plans to turn it into a waterslide later this summer!

Way to go! Ours took HOURS and HOURS (and then a couple more hours)to build so I feel your pain! It will be a well loved addition to your yard though! Enjoy :)
Looks great! And a waterslide sounds super fun! Is that one of the trails behind your fence... that weaves all through the city? I remember being so impressed with the layout there when we visited Steve's relatives in 2002.
