This weekend is truly dedicated to bikes. Saturday and Sunday we are taking a bike mechanic course to help bolster our repair skills. Today was tons of fun in the class - we are the most experienced in the class, but we are still learning lots.
And after class, we jumped on our road bikes (yeah! we put the trainers away...) We had one of our best rides of the season -- amazing sunshine and warm temps (+16!) we fought the wind both ways, but it was still so enjoyable. We did a 42km out and back to Priddis Fire Hall & there were tons of roadies out sharing the afternoon with us.
We were both out-of-province for work this past week, so there is currently no food in our house. So this blog will be cut short - as we need to go grocery shopping. How is it that chores always get in the way of the fun stuff, eh?! hahaha!

Glad to hear the bike maintenance workshop was so much fun.
No groceries, that's too bad, I though you were going to say you ordered in pizza--always a favourite in our house!
We are in PA today, typing from N&B computer. Colin, Wesley, Grant and Baba put 3.5 km on their bikes as we went around the dike twice. We are about +15 today.

Cool -- you have to send photos of Colin's new bike!! Maybe we'll get to ride together this summer before the BC Bike Race? We'd really like that!
Was this beautiful day, before or after the big dump of snow that came your way? I saw the street cleaners out last night & got excited that spring might actually be here now... but then Miles mentioned that it might snow again (according to those crazy forcasters that keep changing their minds!) Did you bring out the snow shoes again?
