Today was going to be the start of our softball season. Our team -- The Corked Bats -- had a practice planned to get the season rolling.
What fun it would be -- tossing the ball around, swinging the bat and getting our first glimpse at what kinda team we would be fielding this season. What joy it would bring us!

And then we woke up from our slumber to find out that the weather guy truly knows jack! What other job could you be as vague or just plain wrong so often and still keep your job?! But we digress...

Grant & Heather - Wow...way to rub salt in the wounds!!! You just wait until it's nice a sunny in Calgary and raining cats & dogs on the Island...we'll see who's laughing then!!! Wait, that will probably happen when we are out there for the bike race :(
