We have some exciting news to announce...we're having a baby!!! Although our little bundle of cuteness isn't due until October 2nd (yes, that is our anniversary!) we thought it was a good time to let you all in on our exciting news.Some of you may have already guessed, but this is the reason there has been a lack of activity on our blog lately...Katie has been a little sick and totally exhausted (in bed by 7pm and napping twice on weekends) so we haven’t been up to our usual fun. It has been a good chance for Scott to get a lot of homework in though! Katie’s starting to feel better and as long the weather cooperates we could be in for some snowshoeing this weekend!
We guess the "adventure" part of our blog now begins! We’re pretty sure our adventures, biking, climbing, caving, snowboarding, and skiing will pale in comparison to the journey we are about to embark on. Don't think for a second all that fun will stop though - we'll just have another little Boyd to join in on the fun (OK, we may have to change things up a little - I don't think an infant can tie a figure eight knot so climbing might be out of the question!).

We can't wait to meet our new nephew (it seems that's all you guys can make so far). Perhaps you'll be the ones to shake things up with the Boyd Boyz and add a girl to the mix. We are excited either way and look forward to the updates.

Yay!!! Congrats! Was wondering when the announcement was gonna go public! Here's to hoping Katie's feeling better & we wish you all the best as your little 'BUN'dle continues to bake! Very fun - I'm sooo excited for you both!
Congratulations!!! Yes, the adventure begins, but it is full of rewards, too. I hope Katie feels better soon, and this little one is kind to her over the next few months!
