Top 200!

I'm living the dream!! Yes, it's true. I'm currently placed 198 in the Tour de France Fantasy Cycling Challenge. There's more than 20,000 people playing. Yes I'm pumped. I made some last minute team changes last night due to the very flat 198km route for Stage 3 - and it paid off today! The number 1 ranked player currently has 394 points and I have 296...so the field is very tight.

I'm anticipating that my rank will now drop, since we leave for holidays tomorrow and I won't be able to adjust my team line-up each night for the following day stage. But it's fun breaking into the Top 200 - thanks for sharing my craziness!

BBA = Boyd Biking Adventures!

If you missed the race this morning, you can catch the replay tonight - worth watching as Team Columbia-HTC broke away with a full team with about 30kms to go and George Hinncapie's interview at the end of the race was priceless! Tomorrow is a Team Time Trial 39kms.

STAGE 4 ROSTER

Ok -- so I've made my changes for tomorrow's stage. I'm going heavy with both Team Saxo-Bank and Team Columbia-HTC. My only uncertainty right now which may lead to regret is that I have all of my Team Garmin riders on my bench right now. But I can only play 9 of my 15 riders - so we'll see how it goes.

Oh, one other TDF note. Lance Armstrong moved into 3rd place today. It means that if his Team rides as well as is expected tomorrow, he could wear the Yellow Jersey at the end of tomorrow's stage. I hope it's not the case, but I think the story potential is too big for him and his team not to try for it.
