We got up early so we could get in our 80kms before Ma & Pa woke up. We got our cold weather gear on and headed West towards Bragg Creek on our mountain bikes -- but the snow picked up and visibility decreased and were back home after only 1.5 hours of riding. We had to bring back the trainers, set them up inside and do our last half of the ride on our road bikes indoors (sad.)
But it gave the folks an appreciation of our training regiment and what we've been up to lately!

More snow in the weekend forecast, but the Birthday Bowler-Rama in our Spring Gear will still happen and hopefully encourage better weather : )

It's supposedly heading our way too! BUMMER! Today is so gorgeous & the kids are in shorts & sandals. I was even washing up the winter gear to pack! So sad! 1.5 hours is impressive on it's own - how long do you usually go for? Happy Birthday Katie - hope you have a fun party, a great weekend & enjoy your company! You'll have to check our site in the next day or two & see Liam's new mowhawk!
Hope the weather system misses you, Louise. This type of crazy storm shouldn't happen in April! Thanks for the b-day wishes -- Birthday Bowler-Rama had to be cancelled -- not fair to ask everyone to drive on this brutal road conditions. But my mom is having a family party on Sunday!!
