Catching Up...

Hard to believe we are now past the mid-way point of July -- where has the time gone?! For us, some of it went during our quick trip to Winnipeg for a family get-together. We drove and spent time with friends in Regina (beautiful house & thanks for the great visit you guys!) and then spent a day at the Spa in Moose Jaw on the way home.

Scott's moms side of the family had a get-together on the Friday. Brent & Lynn have an amazing home and pool and we had fun taking in the rays and visiting family. Grant & Scott played for hours in the pool with the boys, while Heather & Katie got caught-up poolside on the sister-in-law news. More secrets were shared as we were able to get some quality visiting with G&H our last night in the Peg! We also got to meet Matthew!! He is so adorable and cuddly to play with - we loved our time with Paul, Amanda and him.

Saturday was the Boyd gathering and 91 of us came together for a memorial service of Nana and a reunion BBQ. It was very nicely done and ma & pa Boyd took time and showed us around Scott's hometown where they spent some of the early years of his life. A great week overall.

Back to work this past week and the sun is supposed to stay shining for the weekend. Baby shower for Roxcie, fishing for the boys, a few bike rides, some Tour watching (Scott dropped to 6,500 overall and is slowly clawing his way back - tonight he is ranked 2,304 overall) and then Sunday @ Vipers Baseball -- a full weekend of activities -- we'll be sure to document the adventures.
